[He hasn't responded. But that's okay, because you can literally hear his giant footsteps running down the hallway towards your room, Riptide. They sound like angry footsteps.]

[Well, all of his footsteps sound angry. In reality, this is a full on panic.]

It's not a rumor so much as most of us just... assumed? You two act like you've been conjunx for millenia, sometimes.

We have an ideal working relationship.

He gives insightful orders, I follow them to the letter. I write in-depth, detailed reports, and he actually reads them.

That is as far as it goes.

Except for the extra credit on his assignments.

That is something I do because extra credit is something I personally enjoy and he allows me the opportunity for it.

You're emotionally good for each other and work together well in every professional and personal aspect.

I think you should consider it.

He is a capable leader. I will follow him without question.

And he has impeccable handwriting.

That doesn't affect his capacity as a leader, it's just something I noticed and can thoroughly appreciate.

I noticed in a memo he sent me.

I remember it quite clearly. I said to myself 'Now this is very articulate handwriting. Letters are evenly spaced. It is succinct and to the point. No wasted words. This is what a memo should be.'

Then I showed it to Rodimus and he made a very rude noise.

Have you framed any of his memos? Do you keep a handwriting sample of his next to your berth?

No. That's obsessive and frankly terrifying.

I did, however, send him a response explaining that I appreciated the time he spent composing the memo and encouraged him to send out more. Not just to myself, but to the entire crew.

I've never been happier to hear you say those words, Magnus. I was worried for a moment.

[he folds his arms and leans against the door.]
