Hello. You have reached the personal comm of Ultra Magnus, Former Duly Appointed Enforcer of the Tyrest Accord. Second-in-Command of the Lost Light. I am unable to receive your communication at the moment, but if you could leave a detailed message, clearly stating your name, purpose of call, the exact date and time, and a method of which I can contact you, I will return your communication as soon as I am personally able.
If this is an urgent matter, please state BEFORE you state your name the nature and urgency of your situation on a scale of one to ten; One being a minor emergency, ten being the rough equivalent of a necrotitan resurfacing and wreaking havoc on--

Re: text
Don't do it again.
I almost had spark failure.
Never play with words. Unless it's a play on words. Those are acceptable, but only if they are used infrequently enough to be enjoyable.
I've found the socially acceptable limit is two per galactic standard calendar week.
Re: text
i personally enjoy plays on words
are you saying i should withhold making myself happy?
isn't that the opposite of what the problem here was
Re: text
Six if that week contains a universally recognized holiday.
However, I'll need to see notes from both Ratchet and Rung before I issue the official extension.
Re: text
next thing i know i'll bet you'll be outside my door with a vial
don't worry i won't tell megatron you're cheating on him
;)
Re: text
What would I be cheating on?
The last exam he gave I passed with extra credit.
Riptide, are you implying I earned my grade dishonestly?
Re: text
okay never mind bad joke
magnus i'm not implying that because i dont want you to prove me wrong because i know you dont need to

[ACTION]
[Well, all of his footsteps sound angry. In reality, this is a full on panic.]
RIPTIDE!! WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?! WHERE WOULD YOU EVEN GET AN IDEA LIKE THAT?! ARE THERE RUMORS?! WHO IS PERPETUATING SUCH DAMAGING CONTENT?! YOU KNOW HOW I FEEL ABOUT RUMORS!!!
Re: [ACTION]
[riptide opens his door, squints at magnus. he's surpringly calm despite magnus's reaction.]
It's not a rumor so much as most of us just... assumed? You two act like you've been conjunx for millenia, sometimes.
Re: [ACTION]
He gives insightful orders, I follow them to the letter. I write in-depth, detailed reports, and he actually reads them.
That is as far as it goes.
Except for the extra credit on his assignments.
That is something I do because extra credit is something I personally enjoy and he allows me the opportunity for it.
No further.
Re: [ACTION]
I think you should consider it.
Re: [ACTION]
He is a capable leader. I will follow him without question.
And he has impeccable handwriting.
That doesn't affect his capacity as a leader, it's just something I noticed and can thoroughly appreciate.
Re: [ACTION]
Like. Right pressed up against his back?
[riptide is interested to see how far he can push this.]
Re: [ACTION]
I noticed in a memo he sent me.
I remember it quite clearly. I said to myself 'Now this is very articulate handwriting. Letters are evenly spaced. It is succinct and to the point. No wasted words. This is what a memo should be.'
Then I showed it to Rodimus and he made a very rude noise.
Re: [ACTION]
Re: [ACTION]
I did, however, send him a response explaining that I appreciated the time he spent composing the memo and encouraged him to send out more. Not just to myself, but to the entire crew.
Re: [ACTION]
[he folds his arms and leans against the door.]
This has been an extremely educational unexpected visit. Thank you for your time.
Re: [ACTION]
And...off the record...
It is nice to see you smiling again.
Re: [ACTION]
[he giggles a little, even!]
It's because of you and your banter, you giant nerd. Don't forget that either.
Re: [ACTION]
Especially after the great injustice I caused when I arrived.
You deserve to smile.
