We're all struggling to find a place for ourselves now. I was the Duly Appointed Enforcer of the Tyrest Accord. Then Tyrest went mad and I abandoned my position. I left it to Fortress Maximus and...here I am. A 'Legendary Lawman' with no laws to enforce.

It's not an easy transition. When war is all one knows, finding peace is like chasing the sunset.

You're right, Riptide. I am Minimus Ambus. A no-name member of a now barren and empty House who aspired to be someone greater. Literally, anyone greater. I hid my name, my identity, in hopes that I could live forever as a legend, all because I wanted to be something more. Something like my brother, Dominus.

The difference between you and I, Riptide? Is that I can hide myself in armor.

You, at least, can make people laugh. Look around you, Riptide, at all of the lives you've touched. Look how many came to your defense when I tried to arrest you. All you can see are your shortcomings because that is what is being shoved into your face. Step away from that and look at yourself objectively, and you'll find yourself surrounded by so many, many lives that want you as happy as you have made them.
